how do you handle it when you get a ' bad feeling '

there is times in life i get a 'bad feeling' about the future or my life, a feeling of dread and 'foreboding', that something terrible is gonna happen??? i do suffer anxiety just to say and my elderly mum tells me it's just my anxiety causing it and not to worry so much.

but i do find it disturbing when i get those bad feelings, but they do pass, but then come back at times.

how can you handle those times, especially if you live alone and have no support network apart from your elderly mother who lives far away?
