I Have Anxiety

It’s still there somewhere, just waiting for a time when I’m vulnerable to it. I’ve been feeling OK for almost two weeks now. But I still don’t really trust my mind to stay in a good place. I’m sort of waiting for the other shoe to drop.

The longer you stay in your good place the less you'll worry about the other shoe dropping. Hopefully you mind will get so used to that good place, it will totally forget about the other one.

@diablesse Its work at first
watching out for things that trigger the negative thoughts and emotions that follow
I quit claiming the depression and PTSD long ago
and taking all the meds that only made me sleep and grouchy
running off people who love you because you wont even try to get a grip is way more depressing to me
But I was like that ,,I had 3 good days so the bad ones have to be coming soon
pretty soon I had so many good days I stopped letting bad ones win ,,I finally got it ,,I may not be able to control my health ,,but I can control what I think

@rckt148 It is sometimes easier said than done, especially late at night or early in the morning when our guard is down, but kudos to you for managing to do that. 👏

Philippians 4:8 Amplified Bible (AMP)
8 Finally, [a]believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart].

@diablesse Well, unfortunately, I didn’t stay in the good place. The anxiety and crazy feelings came back.

But it’s not as bad as before (so far....fingers crossed.) And I’m trying to tell myself that it’s OK to have these feelings; and that all they are is feelings, and feelings tend to come and go.
