I Have Anxiety

i cope by making a list to give a sense that ive prepared, step back and calming down when im overwhelmed (tea, chocolate, green plants, water, music, call friend - helps), do yoga. having people to actually give you advice and comforts also helps

I have many methods on deailing with this. My favorite one is tricking my mind into believing that I'm actually excited instead of anxious. Since both feelings have similar physical affects on the body its easy to fake it till you make it. Also shutting every other person out of your concious mind for a few seconds in a public place helps. Focus purely on just simply "being" during this process. When i do this I probably look frozen but thats the point. When I'm doing this I'm only focused on simply "being" rather than on other people's thoughts of me. It sounds strange I know.

@HermannFegelein its not really strange though, im grasping what you said and hopefully i can try it out on my own in the future, thank you for sharing
