Okay now I have a huge decision to make

I have two options.

1. Try to remain in Arizona, go back to my old miserable job, live with roommate until I can afford my own place (may not be possible with housing costs rising all the time). I'd get to keep my pets and my belongings.

2. Cut my losses and go back to Tennessee. A dear friend has offered me to stay with her, she has a spare bedroom and bath. I trust her, I have known her since I was 5 years old. To do this, I'd have to use the last of my retirement money to fly to Tennessee, leave my belongings (can't afford to ship them), possibly have to leave my rabbit, and go back to a place that holds very bad memories for me and not much job or education opportunities.

@lissah Actually, its not just mine. Melbourne has been voted the most livable city in the world many times, including this year. How is Little Rock doing??😷
DearAmbellina2113 · 46-50, F
@whowasthatmaskedman I'd love to live in Melbourne

@DearAmbellina2113 I have lived in and visited a lot of places. Believe me. I know how lucky I am . Its not a city for Tourism. Its a city for living in and raising a family..And even McDonalds and 7-11 have to have decent coffee.😷

Is it possible to find another job where you are?
DearAmbellina2113 · 46-50, F
@Quimliqer been trying
Quimliqer · 70-79, MVIP
@DearAmbellina2113 Seems to be the lesser of two evils!! Wishing you luck!

Doesn't sound good. School seems best.
DearAmbellina2113 · 46-50, F
@hunkalove it would have to be a degree that would make it very worthwhile.
hunkalove · 70-79, M
@DearAmbellina2113 It's in the medical persuasion so it should be worthwhile.

Get a piece of paper and list your short-term, mid-term, and long-term goals. Also list the pros and cons of each choice. That'll help you make a solid decision. Do not act out of desperation.

Those both sound like difficult choices. Do they have deadlines attached to them? 🫂

Stay and keep your rabbit. At least it’s familiar and much simpler. You can never tell when opportunity may knock.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
I'm not going to offer you an opinion on which you should choose. But spend a little time imagine your life in 5 years should you make either decision. Where is it likely to lead? Maybe make a list for each. I hope that clarifies things a little for you..😷
Degbeme · 70-79, M
Not a whole lot of choice there.
Degbeme · 70-79, M
@DearAmbellina2113 I`m not saying you should do this. But I`d not leave my pets.
DearAmbellina2113 · 46-50, F
@Degbeme I desperately don't want to leave them.
Degbeme · 70-79, M
@DearAmbellina2113 Understandable
