I was blocked, cornered, and left with no options at the drug store...
I stopped in the drug store to get some toothpaste, and the cashier greeted me as I came in... which I hate. I'm not coming into a store to be greeted, looked over, and interrogated for what I want. I think I smiled though as I walked to the oral hygiene aisle and there was an overweight woman blocking the shelf I needed and an employee stocking the shelves opposite of the shelf I needed. So, I was blocked and I didn't know what to do, so I did an end run to the next aisle and the cashier screamed out, "Can I help you find something?" I felt blocked, cornered, and without options. I left the store and will try again tomorrow.
After making some progress with my social interactions, this was kind of a stumble and step backwards. But that overweight woman wouldn't move, so it was kind of an unusual situation.
