I was attacked for thinking...
I hate when people tell me to stop "overthinking" something...
Usually, the people who tell me that don't seem to be thinking at all. This time was no exception. And that's not a model I want to follow. This morning, that one chic who is flat-chested (as a point of reference not as a way to demean her physical body) asked me if I wanted to go to lunch with a group and I said I would think about it.
She acts like she knows and understands me, and a while back we did come to some kind of an agreement of being nicer to each other, but when she said that I felt like she started a whole new attack against me. I wanted to say to her, "dude, you should try thinking for once..." but I just said, "okay" even though I didn't even really want to go.
Except for some uncomfortable moments caused by one of the people in our group who usually corners me into uncomfortable moments, lunch was okay, but it really wasn't worth my time. So, I guess I should have gone with my inclination to think more about it instead of rushing into something catastrophic that I should have avoided in the first place.
