I hate when people force me into awkward situations...
I was washing my hands in the locker room at the gym, and a guy asked me how my workout went. I literally had no idea what to say since I don't know this person. I mean, I have seen him, sure. But we don't know each other. So, I was forced to pretend I didn't hear him. I hate when people put me in these awkward situations.
I'm not being critical of the guy for asking me a question. I suppose it could be construed as being friendly. But it just seems like there should have been more of an introduction or something if he intended to interrogate me with personal questions I wasn't prepared to answer.
I guess I should have worked up something to say in advance as a contingency for such a situation. I guess that is what I have to start doing now. It's kind of unfair.
