@Ohplease47 I hear you 😄 and I get why it might sound that way at first.
What I meant is that for those who follow Jesus, believe pain isn’t the end of the story—there’s real hope that God redeems what we go through even now, and that the joy He promises isn’t just “after we die,” but something that starts taking root in us even in this life.
So it’s not about minimizing today’s pain… it’s about not letting it be the final word. Jesus meets us in our pain now, and also promises a future where everything broken is healed. That great hope changes how people get through hard days today.
