I hate when people who know me tell me I could benefit from therapy-counseling. For what?

I don't think it's my fault that people confuse being shy (to a degree) with social anxiety. I mean I would be the first to admit I have social anxiety. Maybe I do, but if I do it's just a trace or traces of it in certain situations. I hate that people over-exaggerate and over-react when I explain a social situation that could have possibly gone better than it did.

It's really annoying.

I think you'd know it if you had social anxiety. I was always shy but developed social anxiety later in life and it's completely different. I think there's too much focus on "mental health" online for people who's mental health is perfectly fine lol.

You could definitely use therapy for your TDS issues. Maybe you could find something worthwhile to be consumed with.

@Gibbon I used to get worked up over politics a lot more, but I finally decided it wasn't good for my mental health and getting riled just wasn't doing any good.

But yeah with TDS, some have it even worse. I used to know someone in real life who still had REAGAN derangement syndrome. 🙄 Like sir, he has been gone for 20 years!

@HoeBag Yeah that's hanging on far too long. My thing with both MarkPaul and Waveney is their self-righteous arrogance presenting their TDS. They have both completely lost it.
We all need therapy..

@AbsolutelyFabulous Well, I'm a special case.
