Alan Watts: The Painful Truth About Being Highly Intelligent 🧠

I won't expect many people here to have an interest in listening to this, but I know some will. And, I won't expect many replies. I've seen posts from and talked with many intelligent, yet lonely people here. I suspect it's those - and those who've found it hard to "fit in" - who will find this clip interesting and informative. It's helped me understand why I have so few true friends - only a small handful, if that. People who process their world in a more inclusive way, will understand.

The problem with this, is no two perspectives are alike. There are literally an infinite number of paths. EVERYONE must find out what works for themselves.

Notice the repetitiveness of this perspective BTW. There is a goal in this, just by its repetitiveness. And it has little to do with loneliness. 😞

The key to loneliness is only within yourself. Not about acceptance at all.

Ask why is a perfectionist never satisfied with their own works?
Their own perspective keeps on changing is why.
