Yes and I once shut down on such communication. Wow, I thought I was alone in this. I swear it's related to my anxiety
Always 🙈 it makes me shut down a bit. Especially if they fire back all at once. If it's constant and I start to feel like I don't have a break I end up in a meltdown and full on isolate.

Yes. That's why I don't do it. I'm already overwhelmed by 2 at the same time unless I'm super bored and don't have anything else to do than chat with people. 😂

It’s draining. Professionally I’ll manage but it’s influencing on the resources I have left privately.

Yep. This is a big issue for me. DMs are not so bad but if it involves phone calls or lots of interacting. Not so good.

No. I get to it when I get to it. I don't worry about it unless it's an emergency situation which then puts me in high gear.

it takes me about 1-10 hours sometimes to respond to notifications or messages exactly because of this
GeistInTheMachine · 31-35, M
Yeah, that's why I tend to avoid people.

well it's NYE so hopefully you at least have the whole day off ahead of you to mull over this certain particular question you've posed here on SW without having to actually pay any mind to your co-whatevers' concerns over dis & dats, eh.
