I have given up on applying to jobs online. I feel defeated. No one ever hired me. Yup, they won ig. I'll be ok though I feel like 2026 will be better.

Have you tried the old-fashioned way, going to places you'd like to work and hand your resumes in person? It's a way to stand out. They'll probably remember better the person they actually talked to briefly, more than any online profile.Even if you only talk to the receptionist, it's a way to get your foot on the door... What is your line of work? Retail and customer service seems to be always hiring (because most people hate those jobs...)

@Hireath It's probably not getting better anytime soon. Productivity is at all time highs and people with expendable income is at all time lows. So employers are getting more done with fewer people, but since fewer people have money to spend there aren't a lot of businesses needing to scale up to hire more. We're in a vicious cycle right now
