I was questioned, insulted, and ridiculed... by, basically, a receptionist.

I went to a different gym location than I normally go to and when I went to check-in, the guy at the front desk asked what I was planning to do. I didn't like that he was questioning me, so I just said, "chest workout." He said, "speak up." So, I repeated, "chest workout." He said he hadn't seen me here before. I smiled and remained silent, not sure what to say. He stared at me, so I added, "yeah, my first time at this gym." He said to let him know if I needed help with anything which I thought was rude; I obviously know what I am doing. So, I just ran my barcode across the optical scanner and walked into the gym.

When I finished and was leaving, there was a girl upfront and I could tell the first guy had told her about me, which was infuriating, because she said, "I hope you had a good workout." I just kept walking... out the door.
