My buddy is home.

So we told the kids he was coming home today and tiny tornado was so excited because he has missed him very much. I told them that he might be tired and he might not want to hang out for a while and to just kind of let him be.

So we know that went! Well we walk in and my tiny tornado sees my buddy and he literally starts shaking and crying he's so excited to see him and he runs over to him and jumps into his arms. It was one of the sweetest things I've ever seen he told him how much he missed him and he was so glad he was home and then how much he loved him. My buddy is like a uncle to him. The other kids were excited to see him but not that excited LOL.

And then he wanted to show him everything he got for his birthday. My buddy said give me 10 minutes and then we I'll go down to the game room and see your new Legos. He sets him up on the bar stool by by the breakfast table and he goes downstairs. My tiny tornado is staring at the clock waiting for it to be 10 minutes later. 10 minutes passing my buddy hasn't come up yet then 15 minutes go by. My boy is starting to get a little wiggly now as he knows it's been longer than 10 minutes but he was told to wait in the chair so that's what he's doing. I'm starting to think that my buddy probably went downstairs and fell asleep but the next thing I know my buddy comes upstairs, it looks like he's changed his clothes and taking a shower. He scoops up my boy and spends the hour looking at all the new LEGOs he got while hearing his crazy ideas of how he wants to build them.

He finally tells my boy that he is really tired and he wants to lay down before dinner in the Royals game. My boy gives them another great big hug and continue to play with his Legos.

This is why I wanted him to come home and heal in our house not alone.

That is just what he needed to feel loved and like life is worth living! At least, it's gotta help!

@Poppies they strongly believe that the antidepressant they prescribed him caused him to have those horrible thoughts and that's why he did it. He also has no memory of doing it he knows he did but he can't remember doing it or why or anything about it. He just remembered coming outside and sitting with us. So he is on different medications now that do not cause you to have those bad thoughts. And like I said he's starting a very intense 12-week program to make sure that he is okay and in the right place.
