Suicidal boyfriend

I've been planning on leaving my very rude boyfriend, however, I heard him say that he's still suicidal and has been thinking about it again recently. I know I've made some posts venting about his attitude, that aside, I once loved him so I still care a bit and don't want to add to his suicidal thoughts. He bought me a teddy to say thank you for being there for him, which is sweet. It doesn't change anything but now I'm depressed because leaving is what I'm working towards and this situation makes it more difficult.

Does he only bring it up when you talk about leaving him?

@SinlessOnslaught I don't talk about leaving him at all. But my attitude has changed in the past two weeks I'm less tolerate and if his attitude.

I plan on leaving while he's asleep then sending him a message before I block him saying don't come to my flat or don't message me or I'll call the police.

@UltimateDemiGoddess Do you think you would need to call the police on him? Have you had to before?

@SinlessOnslaught I don't want to have that conversation with him because he's very nasty and he's the type to sit me down and make sure it gets through my mind that I'm in the wrong. It literally hurts my head.

No I won't need to call the police on him. But he called the police on me once. We argued and I tried to leave but my bag went missing at his house so I couldn't leave and was panicking. The best he could do was call the police to kick me out while I was asking if I could look for my bag and collect my things. The police came and understood my situation. They were about to give me a lift home (we live an hour drive away from eachother) then he says "oh it's ok I'll get her an Uber". I never forgive him for that he treated me like a crazy from the street. Then called me in a week asking for me back. Stupid me came back. This was a while ago when things were going good.

@SinlessOnslaught it's not your fault. Its as simple as picking up my bag and leaving I don't know why I can't bring myself to physically do it.

@SinlessOnslaught a part of me worries if he's going to be okay. Another part of me has never done something so horrible just leaving while he's asleep and sending a text threatening to call the police if he contacts me or comes to my address.
