My car is a deathtrap and is going to cost me $1,500 to repair.

There is a bunch wrong with it. I finally took it in because the front end was bouncing like crazy. Something in the suspension was broke, there was something wrong with my brakes and I don't remember if it was ball bearings or something about u joints. There was something else too but I don't remember what it is at the moment. I don't really have the money but I need my car. I can't afford to not have it and miss work. If I miss work it will start a whole chain of events. I'll get fired, bills will stack up and I'll eventually get evicted and be out on the street. I do have a tiny savings of about $750 which is not nearly enough so I have to figure out where I'm going to get the rest. I'll probably go to the bank and see about a loan or see if I can pawn anything.

I know my car is old and falling apart and it is my fault for delaying taking it in to get looked at. I actually have tape covering rust because the metal rusted away and left jagged spots that cut me one day so I fixed it with tape last summer.

Does all of the work need to be done now to make it safe? Perhaps you can space it out a little to give you some breathing room?

@TrunkZ I'm not sure I'll have to ask.
