There has to be a solution to the housing problem.

Houses are so expensive now. I hear even the houses in Florida are expensive now. How's my art degree child going to afford a place of her own? I remember renting a cute one-bedroom apartment in a convenient area for 675 bucks a month all utilities included. You cant even rent a room for that much now. What can we do to change things??

Everywhere there's half a million/ million dollar houses but none for like under maybe 330,000 in New Jersey (condos included) unless you want to live in a trailer in the middle of nowhere.

Where in the US is housing more affordable assuming the only solution is to move? I mean maybe theres communal living situations but that has its problems with accountability. Anyone have any ideas for me to help my kid (all our kids who dont make that much money) to move out lol? She wants to live alone. Thats the major problem.

@SW-User the hard part is finding employment in the more remote areas

@Penny that's been my problem I've had to work terrible jobs because of lack of opportunities. With an art degree your daughter could teach in some school districts my uncle is teaching with only a music degree and nothing in education

@Penny yes, that’s exactly the problem
