There has to be a solution to the housing problem.

Houses are so expensive now. I hear even the houses in Florida are expensive now. How's my art degree child going to afford a place of her own? I remember renting a cute one-bedroom apartment in a convenient area for 675 bucks a month all utilities included. You cant even rent a room for that much now. What can we do to change things??

Everywhere there's half a million/ million dollar houses but none for like under maybe 330,000 in New Jersey (condos included) unless you want to live in a trailer in the middle of nowhere.

Where in the US is housing more affordable assuming the only solution is to move? I mean maybe theres communal living situations but that has its problems with accountability. Anyone have any ideas for me to help my kid (all our kids who dont make that much money) to move out lol? She wants to live alone. Thats the major problem.

@Montanaman oh thats depressing lol. i have a friend who moved to PA out in the Poconos. He cant even get Domino's delivered and he doesnt drive. he hates it. but yeah its a good recommendation. id probably like it there. fresh air and stuff. ive lived in the country before. winters can be tough though.

@Montanaman im like a spoiled jersey girl now. the roads are awful up there lol. I guess the oxygen saturation might make up for it though. idk if id want to move there. PA isnt really that minority friendly when youre Asian.
