Current State of Mind - In a Quicksand.

Current state of mind - in a sort of quicksand. Figuratively or whateverly. I don't know how to get out of this. I see a tiny glimmer, but I don't know if the tiny glimmer wants me. If the tiny glimmer agrees, and pulls me out by hand, then I can help the person I love get out of his quicksand.
