Can we all just acknowledge how January is the worst month?

I don’t see it as such. After the “holidays” January is a great time to cuddle up with your dog or, if you have one, significant other.

Regroup. Don’t roast turkeys, eat a lot of warming soup. Buy only birthday gifts or start saving up for the many baby showers that will happen in September.

Take deep chilly breaths then go back inside to defrost those breaths. Don’t worry about what you’re wearing. Nobody will see it through the many layers you wear to preserve life outdoors.

Literally and figuratively, chill out.

I like January when the pressure is off and the frenetic good cheer subsides.

I actually enjoy January it’s where I set reasonable goals after evaluating my last yrs progress. I’m cautious to set achievable ones that I won’t feel like I failed in December.

Christmas is over. There is no other big holiday until Valentine's Day. The weather is cold. All the leaves are off the trees. It's just bleak and cold out. And it still gets dark early. January is just a cold bleak month.
