i feel like i wanna cry but there's no tears left. I feel so numb.

I had a terrific therapist for over two decades.
I love her I miss her guidance and kindness and humanity and just pretty much everything about her.

I am not the same.

But there are many boundaries that must be maintained in a healthy client-therapist relationship.

Someone who is more of a peer to me but not a friend has challenged me and to be honest with you, I was really pissed off at her.
It made me fume and I wanted to cry my futile tears that I have been crying for decades.
DECADES.
How dare she not 'hold my hand '
How dare she not be soft with me!?

THIS IS WHAT SAID TO ME:
"What do you want to do about that? "

So. I am going to say that to you also.

What
DO YOU WANT TO DO ABOUT THAT?

Because you possess extraordinary power to change the course of your life.
Only YOU can decide and
Only YOU CAN ACT accordingly.

You're capable of creating a beautiful life for yourself
A life according to YOUR VISION and VALUES.

You have to reach out to the safe people and begin.

I have to do the same.

Begin.
