Why does house cleaning wipe me out as much as it does?

I tried out my new carpet cleaner and I'm in love. I vacuumed, i cleaned the problem areas and I cleaned my entire sectional. I scrubbed my tub and shower, mopped the floors and did dishes. I'm exhausted and still have a dinner to cook up.
