' Homesickness '

Would it be reasonable for someone , (adult) , who moved to the opposite end of their country ,(from south to north) to begin to get a desire to be anywhere at all back south where they come from? Even though no traumas and dramas have occurred in the north and their present situation ?

Yes definitely.

I was also under the impression that only kids experience homesickness.
I have that as an adult. But they call it Separation Anxiety. I can't be away from my home for more than 6-7 hours.
