I have never asked for an apology nor have I given one. Not since that episode of NCIS where Gibbs explains their a waste of time.
His right. Some people say sorry all the time and don't mean a word of it. Where others show their sorry by their actions. Which is what I do.

@Thevy29 I hear what you're saying but I honestly don't think that's a good hard and fast policy - it won't always work. The problem is that if you've hurt someone and you don't acknowledge it - thinking inside yourself that they will see you mean it in a few days or weeks or months - you're leaving a hurt sitting there. Inside them. Admitting you were wrong, acknowledging, is powerful if followed by actions.
It's not a dichotomy. I do both. I apologise and I show it by my actions.
