I think I made a mistake getting this bedframe. It's too high.

It's 13 inches tall for under bed storage and by time you add on the box springs and mattress it resembles the princess and the pea bed. I'm 5'3 and struggle to get on the bed. I have to swing a leg over, hop with the other and somehow drag myself up. It's a lot of work after a long day.

Get an IKEA bed. No need for boxspring, that is just a money grab thing. IKEA beds are amazing and nice and low. Cheap too.

Yeah, it can be a real pain when it's too high to just sit down on the bed.
