I Have a Question
How can I make this job work? I've been out of work the last 5 yrs and cant find work no matter what i do and if i do i lose it. ive been in school lately and signed up for spring classes, im doing real interesting ones this time cause i switched to a child care certificate. i get to do stuff like visit a day care center so it will be fun so i dont want to quit school, besides i just got another grant anyways.
but now when i was sending out resumes this time, this place got really interested in me. it was one of those place where you hand out samples at the supermarket, theyve had me doing lots of paperwork and stuff. they practically just about hired me but they gotta do a background check and drug test. its part time and you can pretty much make your own schedule, i might have to do some more online training and train in one of the stores around here, but my classes are night ones so that helps. everything sounds great and they practically just about hired me except i have a problem. a big one.
I had to leave the resort over two hip implants, this was 5 yrs ago, i couldnt stay cause they didnt want to accomodate me by letting me do sit down work. ive also had a knee surgery, and unfortunately now i have a bad knee .
the problem is i cant stand around for hrs on end but i only cant live without income for yrs on end either like ive been doing. I do have a doctors note about that so im wondering if they'll let me do it sitting down, theres no way im hurting my knee. thats out of the question. but i really need this job since noone will hire me and i mean noone. except them and other jobs that havent worked out. i almost had one back in nov at a calling center but lost it cause of getting a 73 on a test during training instead of an 85, id only been there two wks. but with this knee issue i wondering what i can do to keep it, unless god miraculously heals it before i start work i have a problem on my hands, so how do i solve this? any suggestions?
