I Have Random Thoughts

I get this with lifts/elevators. Like they think somewhere there's a dude actually controlling them lazily until they hit it for a forth time and that snaps him into action and puts the lift into turbo mode or something.

Actually, it does trigger the lights to change, but they won't change any faster by continually pressing the button. I see people do that with elevators, too. The elevator doesn't arrive any faster.
