You know politics is changing when...

...a 75 year old socialist brings a giant print out of a Tweet to the Senate floor. Bernie does have a point though, as usual:

Poor Bernie, he got daggered by the democratic party, even had to witness the republicans win on all fronts... Let's just hope the old man passes away peacefully from that hemorrhoid instead of the inevitable heart attack when europe rallies behind Le Pen.

@Burnley123: Under capitalism, man exploits man.
Under communism, it's just the opposite.

When Donald Trump is sworn into office, he won't be allowed to have his own cellphone. That's illegal. His Twitter army days might be ending soon.

@Jackjjacksonjr: "I have no understanding of communism, Marxism, or capitalism. I just post shitty memes and hope other people are dumb enough to agree with them." -You

Do you bother reading my comments or do you just pretend they say whatever you want them to?

@BlueMetalChick: Get a room you two. ;-)

@Burnley123: Rooms are for people who like each other.

Sanders looks like the typical 'leftist' these days, claiming to be anti-establishment but up to the neck in it. If he had some dignity, he would have told their followers not to vote for any candidate as both were really far from his proposala. He showed his true colours when he showed support for Hillary. Another globalist puppet.
NorthwestM
@Cierzo: these two names are simply the tip of the iceberg. Have you seen the other nominees? It's a who's who list of Wall Street, speculators, and ruthless industrialists.
CierzoM
@Northwest: I don't know the other nominees, save for Steve Bannon, and I am not going to criticise Trump for choosing him. If these nominees work for big corporations instead of the common American, I will criticise Trump and what is more important, he will not be re-elected.

@Randy1737: The left as I understand it is stronger than anytime in my adult life. Its the neoliberal centre which is collapsing. Understanding what I just said requires nuance and political awareness though. Btw Randy, nuance is not a French cheese and political awareness involves understanding that a narcissistic billionaire TV celebrity may in fact have different interests to you.

I hope Bernie goes after Trump with a vengeance. That's what Hillary should be doing, instead of going to the inauguration. Hillary not only lost, now she is showing us what a pitiful loser she really is.
NorthwestM
@hunkalove: You're buying into that debunked story? He did not shell out $550,000 to buy a new house. He inherited property, that was in his family for something like 100 years. The place is too far from where he lives, so he shuffled some stuff around, to trade one piece of property for another. I also would not call a $550,000 property "luxury" living.
NorthwestM
@hunkalove: Attending the inauguration, is what she should be doing. We're a Constitutional Democracy, and regardless of how one feels about Trump, it is important to insure an orderly transfer of power.

Obviously, this is not something Trump would have done, but...

Unfortunately, catching Trump in an outright lie hasn't, and won't stick considering how many hundreds of lies have been documented. I think he's going to be interesting where he differs with the GOP, but it won't be on this.

I am confident Trump is gonna oversee the greatest looting of the public sector by the private America has ever seen.

@Randy1737: Answer Jerry's question: what is a libtard? My fake intellect isn't up to understanding that. I don't think we have libtards in my country.

He is nuts but of course the people behind him know exactly what they are doing. Its quite right that Bernie is using his new-found profile to fight this cause and call to account what is likely to soon happen. I.E. massive cuts to Obamacare and Medicare that were not voted for.
NorthwestM
I understand that LePen is going to go use the same Twitter strategy: lie and worry about it later, as it matters very little to those who will vote for her (and voted for Trump).

So, we're in a post-fact political arena, and that's the real change. The communication medium, I think, is not important, although it may be critical to the audience, because it's limited to 140 characters, and this is probably indicative of the audience' depth.

@burnley I'm surprised you didn't delete nw's odd topic ranting gibberish. Be careful it won't be long until nw starts name calling when you quickly and inevitably outwit her him.
