You know why I liked The Force Awakens?

They were less liberal in their use of the lightsaber in choreographed fight scenes, plus they made the saber feel like the powerful tool it is, not just a glowing sword.

Lookin at you prequels, were almost every character had a lightsaber, making the thing feel less special.

It's not my only reason why I liked it, I just found it was one of the more meaningful, it set it apart from the prequels in that regard.
