They are letting men box women at the Olympics

These people have no sense nor shame.

I don't have the time or the energy to remark upon every example of this happening, but have to bring attention to this, as it's not getting out there nearly as much as the boxing situation.

This is in the paralympics. One of these competitors is a 51 year old man, racing against women 20 years+ younger than him because he feels like a woman (I don't know what his wife and kids think of it). Luckily he is reducing his testosterone so it's fair for him to compete(!) 🙄 Never mind the women who miss out on their opportunity for his benefit.

@LordShadowfire Yeah, it's hate speech. I hate that this is allowed. Nothing I've written there is not factual.

@helsbels "Petrillo currently holds 8 women’s running championship titles, but failed to earn even one while competing as a male. In January 2019,Petrillo changed his nameto Valentina and began taking estrogen. The following year, he began competing against female athletes and has since broken multiple Italian women’s running records."

"In September 2020, Petrilloraced in the women’s100-, 200- and 400-meter competitions at the Italian Paralympic Athletics Championships in Jesolo, despite having not undergone the procedure euphemistically labeled sex reassignment surgery.

Additionally, Petrillo had not altered his identification documents, which still listed his sex as male, though this did not deter him from being granted permission to enter the match. Hewon first placein all three races and thereforequalified to representItaly at the Tokyo Olympic Games."

@helsbels And you double down.

@LordShadowfire Yeah, because I think it's wrong. You cannot change your sex. Sport is segregated by sex. In his personal life he is free to explore any expression of gender identity that he wishes. It doesn't make him a woman. He can get a certificate, change his passport, cut off balls... he should still not be taking the place of a woman in women's sport. He's 50 years old. How else is he even vaguely competitive against women half his age if not for the inherent male advantage he has? Pushing out other women, taking their dream to satisfy his own selfish desire.
