What do you think of trans women in biological females professional sports?

It’s a complex issue in my opinion. One of my online friends from here said there should be separate divisions biological females vs other females, intersex vs other intersex people, trans competing against trans, and biological males vs. other males. I suppose that is fair. But there probably aren’t enough trans and intersex people in professional sports to make significant categories in the sports arena. I guess I would say an open category for everyone in addition to the men’s and women’s sports would be more practical. I will say in combat sports trans women I feel on average have several advantages over even strong females. I would say male puberty is where I draw the line. I would let an intersex female compete with 100% biological females if she doesn’t have advantages of male puberty and same for trans females if she didn’t develop into a masculinized puberty because she started hormones young then I say there is no significant advantage. The science is not perfect but we need to ensure intersex and trans athletes rights to play professional sports along with rights of everyone else. What do you think?

What about sports and competitions that don't rely on physical prowess? Has there ever been a woman world Chess champion? Has a woman ever won a Triple Crown event as a jockey? (YES! One... Julie Krone won the 1993 Belmont). Did a Snooker-playing female win any tournament vs men... darts?...

If not, why not?

It seems to me that sports teams and athletes in competition with each other could be organized according to height, weight, speed, whatever physical characteristics are relevant -- rather than male/female..
That would ignore the social factor, though, of -- for example -- women bonding with each other on a women's team. So it would be an imperfect solution.

idc. it's such a minute issue. like... trans women make up .002% of college sports and .00001% professional sports or something like that. i want biological men watching sports to stop beating their wives. dv rates go up like 10% on nfl days. the way anti trans people turn to sports as a way to invalidate trans folk is just really annoying to me

voluntary association already solved it and personally, women are disadvantaging themselves when they allow it but if that's what they collectively want... and if they don't want it then it's not bigotry
for me it's simple. if you were born a male then you will always compete against males and same with females. if later on in life if one identifies with someone other than their birth sex so be it....they can create their own leagues if they wish....i just won't watch them.
