Do You Ever Watch NFL Games on Mute? 🤔

The other day, I had my NFL stream on but was in a super loud place, so I watched the entire first half on mute. It was weird, but honestly, kind of fun? I found myself focusing more on the plays and less on the commentary.

Has anyone else ever done this? Do you ever turn off the sound and just enjoy the game, or is the commentary too important for you?
I’m curious if anyone actually prefers watching NFL this way, or if it’s just something you do when you have no choice.

Let’s hear your thoughts!
You're too young to remember these goofs but Dan Dierdorf, Howard Cosell and especially the "comedian" Dennis Miller were the worst NFL announcers/analysts and had to be turned off in order for you to remain sane (and to prevent heavy objects from being thrown at the TV).

On the rare occasions when I can stand to watch the Bears, I often do it this way.

Can vary. Depends if the game is trash or. If it’s a good game have the sound on

I watch most sporting events on mute. I can follow the action without announcers.

I turn off the sound on TV and listen to the radio announcer when I hate the TV announcer
