Remembrance Day is always complicated when you have grandfathers who fought on the opposing teams.

They’re frail old men who would probably still kill each other if there was enough alcohol in the mix.

One grandfather flew with bomber command and hit the third Reich hard from a mile up in feeezing cold airplanes.

The other invaded France, Greece and then killed more Russians than the Ukraine and didn’t quit until he had enough lead in him to become a human pencil and was captured in a hospital bed.

@LordShadowfire The are both two old men who were still practically children when their governments taught them to kill. They are both brave men who deserve my respect.
