Some of the parents are just as bad. Acting like its a pro sporting event. Yelling at the refs or the umpires. It's supposed to be a game

As a kid I never found sports fun unless I was on my own, or with just one other person or a group of trusted friends, once adults got involved it was a fucking nightmare. Getting screamed at, dragged to fucking freezing cold morning games. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! The coaches were a nightmare, my parents took it all so seriously, like any of it actually mattered.

A lot of coaches were probably high school jocks who take sports way too serious.
Those guys have no business trying to nurture kids.
One of the clients I have to deal with occasionally is a 20 something year old athletic director at some middle school and I cannot stand dealing with him. He might as well have the word "Prick" tattoo'ed across his forehead. Too much energy and testosterone. Classic jock.
