Do you wonder about asking help from a Higher source?

I've asked God or the Higher source etc for help many many times over the years. Mainly I need help with this chronic PTSD which is severely limiting my life. But I wonder today, others have asked for help and they never got an answer and some even died in various situations. So if their prayers or wishes were not answered, how do I think mine would be or are more important? Do you wonder that sometimes?

All I can say to encourage you, is to repeat what my deity....... consciousness...... use any term you like, said to me when I wanted to sober up.
Wanting to sober up, but unable to, I cried out to every god with a name, and no help came. Finally I made a conscious decision to cry out the Abrahamic God with no name, just God. I'm not going to sit here and tell you that, that God spoke to me, or my heart, or any other religious mumbo jumbo. All I understood at that point was "I was born with everything I needed to beat my addiction," and so my journey to sobriety began.

I think my point here is, we shouldn't look to deities to cure us, but look to our deities for wisdom to find the cure for us ourselves. I know it can be a long and difficult task, but finding the right doctor, or group of doctors, can make all the difference in our health.

I intended this to be encouraging, and I hope you take it that way. 🤗
