What would be a more interesting question: does god actually have a back 🤔
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Temporallube His back is the sky and the clouds are his bones or something I dunno

Actually, it's the many who have turned their backs on God.
God is there for us all, but are you there for Him?

No. Too many of us have turned our backs on Him.
No way. It's the other way around.

Theologically there tend to be two ways to look at this
The watchmaker God, who builds at all why is it all turned it loose and watches as it spins and dances. He does not interfere with it. Just watches how his creation works and our part in it
The puppet master God, who also created everything and built the rules by which it operates but who meddles Pulls the strings of the puppets sometimes all of them all the time Everything is under the continual watchful eye and controlling hand of the dead
other models say just here and there the occasional adjustment
The miraculous intervention. Often intervening for the benefit of one or the other group of people
So if you believe the first, all the stuff it’s going wrong it’s us messing up the watch. And the watch will eventually have to self correct
If you believe in the second, we may not have enough in mind, to understand why the deity would choose to pull the strings the way we are seeing today. So I see a deity as just a giant version of ourselves. Others understand it to be incomprehensible in comparison to us
So giant human in the sky yes go ahead and suggest human style motives punishment vengeance blessing.
So omniscient omnipotent being who sees and understands what we cannot, then our challenge of has. God abandoned us? Theologically, one must look at the categories above see what they say

@Jimbo7
A better question would be why do we always blame God for everything that comes along? There is a devil in this world. What if those people didn't take care of themselves and just ate junk? Would that be God's fault, too? Hardly.
I know many who attend church and have helped many and died from cancer and covid ,is that not turning his back

No. We turned out back on Him.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Jimbo7 so how many of us are not going to die at some point? Covid is manmade. The vaxes are more deadly than the disease. Don't blame God for evil people killing people

@hippyjoe1955 where was he when the slaves of Presidents were in chains
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Jimbo7 where were the president's morals who owned slaves.. BTW slavery is not the greatest sin. Killing people via biological warfare such as covid is much much worse. Strangely Fauci is still a free man

People turn their backs on God before God then turns His back on people..
God is always willing to gather estrainged people back into a relationship with Him if they turn back to Him and seek Him anew..

Nope.

The explanation i get from believers is god gave us free will and after that we are on our own . People will quote indecipherable bible passages and ramble on but what they are really saying is god has no responsibility to care about anyone.

God does not change.
Have you turned your back to him?

He’s spirit. He doesn’t have a back

People have tuned their backs on humanity ...and if you believe in God , that's where he resides.🤷
zonavar68 · 56-60, M
God is fake - a creation of humans - as part of something called religion.
Bumbles · 51-55, M
God is a homo.
