His back on us

Theologically there tend to be two ways to look at this

The watchmaker God, who builds at all why is it all turned it loose and watches as it spins and dances. He does not interfere with it. Just watches how his creation works and our part in it

The puppet master God, who also created everything and built the rules by which it operates but who meddles Pulls the strings of the puppets sometimes all of them all the time Everything is under the continual watchful eye and controlling hand of the dead
other models say just here and there the occasional adjustment
The miraculous intervention. Often intervening for the benefit of one or the other group of people

So if you believe the first, all the stuff it’s going wrong it’s us messing up the watch. And the watch will eventually have to self correct

If you believe in the second, we may not have enough in mind, to understand why the deity would choose to pull the strings the way we are seeing today. So I see a deity as just a giant version of ourselves. Others understand it to be incomprehensible in comparison to us

So giant human in the sky yes go ahead and suggest human style motives punishment vengeance blessing.

So omniscient omnipotent being who sees and understands what we cannot, then our challenge of has. God abandoned us? Theologically, one must look at the categories above see what they say
