I personally have no "beliefs" because I don't see the point or the meaning, it seems like a more emotional than intellectual process. its like showing me a box and asking me if i think there is something inside. what I "believe" has no effect on the content of the box and I have no solid information to conclude one or the other. I am not against the idea of intelligent design but in terms of the principle of parsimony I haven't found anything yet which can only be explained by the invention of a god. further, although I am not against the idea that a "god" might exist, I am definitely convinced that the abrahamic idea of god is not it being far too primitive and in fact if there is such a thing as god the abrahamic model would be an insult to the real thing.
