When she was coronated as Queen, Great Britain still maintained rule over several colonies and protectorates. The last colony being Hong Kong which gained freedom from the UK in 1997. She served as the Commander in chief of the British military. Therefore she approved of many wars and military operations. She was the pride and joy of Western hegemony and white supremacy.
