Have you ever went through a looking glass into another kind of perception where a bug walking across the ground moved you to tears?
Where you see the light of eternity shining through every leaf and that you see something inside that leaf that is alive. Where you notice that the creation is glorifying God and recognizing Him. It is a place where you feel truly alive. It is ironic that many are typically only moved into this state when they are dying or thinking about death. I think that there's something that our learning processes have blocked us off from, that has kept us in a kind of perception deception, symbolically akin to a firewall on a PC in China. Some kind of firewall transmission. This firewall blocks us off from reality, blocks us off from what exists all around us right now that is just as real and exciting as climbing Mount Everest and visiting the Grand canyon. This firewall gets us to feel things like boredom, ingratitude and a lack of pure awe and wonder over the most simple things and over God's handywork, and keeps us locked in a hemispherically imbalanced left brain prison. In spiritual blindness. It also keeps us conquered by convenience and comfort, focused on climbing this hierarchical ladder of "success" (a dream world) and the pleasures of this world where we entertain ourselves to death instead of focusing on the bigger picture - eternity.
What has your mind blocked off from the bigger picture of life today? What has you lulled into a trance?
