Because a kick-ass coincidence doesn't prove anything supernatural. But how could anyone look at something like the effects of horrible diseases that disfigure and kill children and say that there is a kind and loving god with a plan for everyone is beyond me.
@Aresdotexe Diseases partly come from mankind's mistakes. I don't claim to understand it all but Someone still had to create the world. People can do a lot to help stop the world's problems but sadly few do. God gave us free will and intelligence to do either good or evil and very sadly more people choose evil over good, mostly because of selfishness.
@Cloud7593 The Moon passed between the Earth and the Sun... therefore magical entities exist? That's merely explaining everything away without actually explaining anything. After all, what created the magical entity?
@Cloud7593 How the hell is polio one of mankind's mistakes? Also, assuming you're talking about the Christian god, no, he didn't give us knowledge of good and evil.
@Cloud7593 If it's in any way valid to say that your god has always existed, then it's equally valid to say that the universe has always existed... and that has the advantage of simplicity, because it removes the middle-man (middle-deity?)
@Cloud7593 Thinking professional wrestling is entertaining is a different belief, you hold a false belief. Like thinking professional wrestling is real and not just made up.
