"When in doubt, just have faith"

So basically, if you have doubts about your religion, don't do research, ask questions or think about it - just have faith. You know all those questions you have because something doesn't quite add up, something feels a bit off? Don't think about it. Just have faith and everything will magically be okay without you really having to do anything or think for yourself.

I dissagree, you must do research and then think about:

Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

You wouldn't have heard it unless you read it in the word of God ( the Scriptures )
and you have to research the word of God to find it and then much more than that.

@ArcAngel Do research? Yes. But then turn to faith (which is believing in something without evidence) anyway? No, because that makes any research you've done pointless.
Or if you only look at what's in the bible, ignoring everything else, then you haven't really done proper research anyway.

faith (which is believing in something without evidence)

(Hebrews 11:1) "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
