Christian and atheist couple [Spirituality & Religion]

Do you think it could work out?
EnigmaticGeek · 61-69, M
Well, given the sheer number of hypocritical Christians I've encountered, I think there's a good possibility, unless the inherent lying involved by said Christians is too much for the Atheist to bear. I've found Atheists, in general, to be more honest than many Christians.
No. Jesus said not to be unequally yoked.
i guess death would really be where they do part...

Me and my daughter.......I will always love her!
Fernie · F
yes I do. There are plenty of believers out there who believe quietly and don't care if anyone else believes...you know...the healthy ones

I was the atheist half in one for three and a half years, we broke up because he wanted kids and I don't.

@ScrewThisImDone I was the christian half in one for three and a half years, and we broke up because she wanted sex before marriage! lol.

Depends on how ''religious'' the christian is and how much the atheist is willing to do for his/her partner.
NeuroticByNature · 41-45, F
Yes if they are respectful of each other. If not it was doomed without the religion factor.
Crazychick · 36-40, F
Maybe, as long as they don't argue over their beliefs.

Depends how strongly either of them feel about it. But even the teachings speak against couples being "unevenly yoked" (I think is the term). The success rate is probably not high.

If the christian sacrificed a lot of their faith, possibly their entire lives, then yes.
Depending on their level of devotion
