It has been always like that. Later life shows you how stupid your teenage certainty was

@Cierzo: I wasn't stupid when I was a teenager. I was incredibly violent though. I'm still trying to control that about myself.
Cierzo · M
@BlueMetalChick: Where does violence (when it is not self-defensive) come but from arrogance and stupidity?
Sonnet · 41-45, F
@BlueMetalChick: oh, you were. You'll see. We all see eventually. Lol!
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Cierzo: Violence came from a necessity to be that way because I was in constant danger of being harmed by others. What, was I supposed to just lay down and die? Let myself be beaten to death?
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Sonnet: Because there's never ever been any teenager who wasn't stupid, in the history of the world, ever. Because Sonnet says so.
No, I was most certainly not "stupid" as a teenager. Stupidity is something you are born with. A stupid teen will make a stupid adult, just as a smart teen will make a smart adult.

@BlueMetalChick: Then it is for self-defence, and not stupid
Sonnet · 41-45, F
@BlueMetalChick: you're missing the point, & looking quite stupid right now actually 😂
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Sonnet: I'm looking stupid, but you're the one saying intelligence depends on age? Yeah, because that makes sense. Obviously, everyone is born with the brainpower of a toaster, but somehow they become smart as hell when they reach the age of thirty.
Sonnet · 41-45, F
@BlueMetalChick: perhaps emotional intelligence develops with age, I'd wager that that is true.
But I was talking about the arrogance of youth, not IQ levels. So you've went off on one about something I didn't even say 🙂

@Sonnet: No, I went off about something Cierzo said that you encouraged. Because he specifically used the word "stupid" which means unintelligent.
Sonnet · 41-45, F
@BlueMetalChick: it has a few meanings actually. Like foolish, pointless, irritating.
