every decision you make is based on faith. beliefs are not always based on faith but faith matters in belief when theres no concrete proof. some people call it intuition or a hunch a feeling. to deny that we have any inner knowing is just as bad as denying there is a higher power. our intuition may not always be right and our beliefs can be misheld especially regarding spirituality, but we are not "perfect" people who can fit into a little box of science. our faith and wonder makes us who we are in a glorious way. embrace it, why deny it?? not saying you can't deny it, but i dont understand why anyone would want to deny the thought of a higher power. maybe God isnt all sunshine and rainbows but one thing i do think is that our belief in him makes us stronger and stronger is good.

Yeah i just know believers get tetchy when you suggest that their faith is blind....and yet @Penny seems unwilling to give a good faith answer as to what someone could not believe upon by faith which is rather telling lol

@Pikachu Some like a bet each way. Dont hold that against anyone. If a persons faith gives them comfort, who am I to take it away from them. There are no atheists in foxholes. In one or two desperate moments I have sent up a quick prayer. Just in case..😷

Honestly me neither. I never try to convince people that their god isn't real. I just demand they be rational when they talk to me about it lol

lol whaaat? I have no idea what you're saying. Maybe you're conflating faith and organized religion?

Would anyone buy a car, strictly based on faith?
I wouldn't take the word of 99.9% of "Christians" on faith that's for sure. 🤷🏾
@DancingStarGoddess I don't think i'd take the word of just about anyone on faith alone lol

Dont ever take on faith anything you will need to rely on in this reality..Having faith that the next step may be there when you cant see it has consequences..😷

The arrogance and stupidity of most atheists.

It's not something that guides the search for truth, it's what sustains you even when the answers aren't clear.

Faith means belief not based on evidence or logic, so no.

It’s an excuse to be a self-righteous douchebag.
@Fukfacewillie
There's definitely a holier than thou element that can arise when people consider faith to be a good thing.
