Is it true that if you do harmful witchcraft on someone, it comes back to you times 7?

I try to keep up with the times but I can't bring myself to read a book on it cause I am too scared I'll find out something I don't need to know.

If you want to read a book about the different types of witchcraft and paganism, I highly suggest Drawing Down the Moon by Margot Adler. It is a very comprehensive history of the movements and gives excellent descriptions of the major sects of the NeoPagan movement.

It's not an indoctrinating book, just an explanation of this side, though not biased, still very open.

It really depends on what you believe.

Wicca is all about "The Three Fold Law", which is kind of a hangover from Christianity. Basically, whatever you put out comes back threefold. Karma just becomes a new "God" catch all.

Then you have those who fully believe there is no repercussions for their actions.

Honestly, I have no position other than, karma just is, regardless. It is just going to do its thing because it is a force and not some deity or the like passing judgement on your actions.

Practicing witchcraft should be non judgemental, punitive or granting awards. It is just working with intention and nature. Whatever else you want it to be is whatever you want it to be.

Don't like the Law of Three? Great!

Don't like to hex and curse? Great!

Think you should hex and curse? Great!

This is how everyone should view the practice.

That’s what I read in the ancient text.
