I haven't done it in a while but it was interesting to look back on old ones and see how crazy I was. Then go back again later and see that I was still nuts. This was as I was going through a divorce. I'm much better now..😉

Yea, I keep one. I post drafts here that I almost always delete.
It helps a lot. I don't rely on people for emotional comfort or anything anymore. I "lean" on it, plus it's useful to record thoughts and feelings.

I keep a combination bullet journal and art journal. I find it keeps me focused and somewhat sane.

An art journal? Is that just a doodle journal?

Yes. It helps me to express myself, and cope better with stress.

Do you still do it?

I've been journaling daily since I was diagnosed with diabetes in May 2015; I test my glucose twice daily, note when I take my meds, what I eat, how much exercise I get, any mood swings or concerns. I've found it does help me stay centered and aware.
