This is a beautiful post. Truth is considered more important than belief, as belief does not inherently make something true. The truth exists independently of what people believe about it.

I believe in truth facts science and reality.
I believe religion is a human construct to keep ppl controlled in exchange for community a bite of bread and a sip of wine. Also for a heated room at least 1 hour a week.

I'm heartily sorry that those doctors haven't been straight with you for the past years. I know what it's like to have a doctor not be straight with you on your health issues. The only thing that I can do for you, friend, is pray for you. You can count on God to be straight with you.

There is no merit in thinking you have the freedom to believe anything - that's just delusion, not belief. Plenty of people think they have freedoms, when they don't.

And convictions are based on evidence that's something has taken place, from personal experience, or witnesses. The evidence can include physical evidence, witness testimony, expert opinions, and documents. One then, evaluates the evidence, and makes a decision.

Truth is all that matters. Belief is but a wish. It's just your brain talking to you, mostly from fear.
