As of today, scientists cannot create a fully functional living cell from scratch....meaning they cannot generate a cell with all the necessary components and functions of life solely from non-living materials.

A cell is a highly complex system with many interacting parts, making it extremely difficult to replicate from scratch.

Scientists can create synthetic DNA and manipulate existing cellular components to build structures that resemble cells and perform some functions, but these are not fully functional living cells.

Researchers are actively exploring ways to build cells from basic building blocks, but this is still a major scientific challenge.

Advances in cell-free transcription and translation reactions allow the expression of many genes, but these efforts are far from producing a fully operational cell.

It's hard to say. Probably not with current technology. There's nothing in the videos you posted about it just some guys going on about flat earth type stuff.

Suddenly you want to run away from your own words.

In other words, you're telling me that you don't know or don't want to know.

@GodSpeed63 Why are you saying 'in other words'?

You made a statement and I asked you a question about it.

A question you are now avoiding.

Is that because you don't know what you mean when you say 'in the beginning'?

Can it be that you're admitting you don't know what you're talking about?

Why are you saying 'in other words'?

Why can't you admit that your wrong and that you don't have a clue of what you're talking about?

Actually, I can define "life" in a way that can be tested. In fact, Janine did so below! Here it is again:

What does Janine know about life or where it came from? Has it ever occur to you that she could be wrong?

Please explain exactly why not. Oh, wait, you can't explain anything because you know essentially nothing about organic chemistry nor biochemistry nor biophysics.

Neither can you or Janine. Man can't create a living cell even if he wanted to. Only God creates living cells.
@GodSpeed63 At the top of this thread I posted links about two different efforts making artificial cells. Here they are again:

What about real living cells? Where did they come from, what was their origin in the beginning?
AbbySvenz · F
No, but neither can god. He created everything all growed up: plants, animals, and man 🤷🏼‍♀
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@AbbySvenz
By “god” according to your book

It's not my book, it's His. It's in Genesis where He spoke everything into existence.
joe438 · 61-69, M
@AbbySvenz how do you account for single cell plants and animals like the amoeba?
AbbySvenz · F
Where, specifically, are those mentioned in the Bible?@joe438
Penny · 46-50, F
from seeds :)
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Penny
just thinking about like gardening and stuff

Where did the seeds come from?
Penny · 46-50, F
@GodSpeed63 from the plant lol
Penny · 46-50, F
@GodSpeed63 oh i think i get it its a trick question seeing that cells are the "scratch"? what are they made of? atoms?
no

logically

it's only possible to make an artificial replica
