Hi Grace,
I've not been a very good friend lately. I've been in one little project after another and I still haven't got much done.
Thanks so much for posting this hymn on here today. I can't sang a lick or carry a tune in a bucket but I sat outside all morning long and sung old hymns and praised God in my heart.
I hope you are feeling better and that you are having a wonderful day.

God has been good to us here in KY.

His arms are open to all
so come clean
Psalm 103:12
as far off as the sunrise is from the sunset, so far off he'll put our transgressions
Hebrews 10:26
if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth,
there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins

@ammelee Be in our company. We will learn something from you and surely, you will learn something from us, including @BritishFailedAesthetic, LadyGrace, music man, Godspeed, Eyeno. For now, I have these names.
TY. I don't think so young man. Some people prefer to drive wearing eyeflaps (and I have to add lol one of them could be me) I can tell I'm not your kind of people and it's just fine.
@ammelee "your kind of people", just because we don't agree on scripture? I think that's awfully judgmental. We have never presented ourselves as being better than anyone else but we're not going to be arguing with people about scripture. When it comes to the point where we can't agree, it is always best to agree to disagree.

@GodSpeed63 yes! Thank you!
Amen sister, it's great we serve a compassionate God who knows us.
Our sanctification is a lifelong process.

@LadyGrace It is not salvation if we can lose it, exactly!
@BritishFailedAesthetic A Christian cannot lose their salvation because Romans 11:29 says, “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” This means that God’s gift of eternal life is permanent and cannot be taken away, lost, or forfeited. 👍
@LadyGrace Amen to that, may we grow in joy at verses like this.

Amen, sister, amen!!! Good post. We can't earn into heaven as religious people will have us think, we get into heaven by grace alone because of what Jesus has done for us. We can't add to what He's done. It'd be like us going to a bank to pay on a debt that's already been paid for by someone else. Thank you for sharing this post with us.

Good Morning. Thank you for sharing this wonderful song. Only Jesus says that he will deliver us from our sins. Noone else does. I received him into my life to make me free and I feel happy and blissful now.

@DanielsASJ it is truly a miracle the way the Holy Spirit transforms lives the minute we accept Jesus as Savior. I'm so thankful that anyone can come to him to be saved. Thank you for your beautiful testimony. Jesus sets us free.
@DanielsASJ I hope people will listen to that song as the choirs voices are the most beautiful and so is the scenery that moves along.

[media=https://youtu.be/nTIGVIcHsFE] This song immediately came to mind as soon as I read your post. ✝
@Barefooter25 I have never heard that song before, that's very pretty. Thank you!

@LadyGrace One time I saw a documentary about the US Marine Corps basic training at Paris Island, SC. When the recruits attended Church services, a Marine Corp. choir was singing that song.
@Barefooter25 oh I bet that was pretty. Thanks for sharing it.
Do you like the play jesus christ superstar?
@TryingtoLava There's no Christian version of heaven. There's only what the Bible says about heaven and if you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, then you will see heaven, according to what Jesus stated in Scripture. Anyone can have Jesus as Savior. He turns no one away, who wants to be saved.
@TryingtoLava you keep referring to Christianity as a reason for Judas betraying Jesus, so I just want to ask you do you understand what Christianity means? There's two points I would like to make about this:
1. One doesn't have to be a Christian to go to heaven. By that, I mean that in order to go to heaven the Bible says one must accept Jesus as their Savior, and invite him into their hearts and lives and believe that Jesus died for their sins on the cross so they could have their sins forgiven and have eternal life in heaven.
It doesn't matter what denomination are special group anyone belongs to. Denomination has nothing to do with salvation. Anyone can be saved in the world. Also salvation is not based upon our performance. That is whether we do good or bad things. Salvation is based upon or asking Jesus to forgive us of our sins and by his grace, he saves us and accepts us as his child. We then inherit eternal life in heaven with him. Grace means unearned favor from God. In other words we don't have to work our way to heaven by doing good works. It is by God's grace that we are saved.
2. The word Christian simply means a person who believes in Christ, has accepted him as their personal Savior, and follows him in their daily walk.

@TryingtoLava Jesus loves you just as much as he loves anyone on Earth. If you wish to be in heaven with him, and you have asked him to forgive your sins, just like we all do, you will be going to heaven. We don't keep ourselves saved, it is Jesus that keeps us saved. It is his grace that keeps us saved. And when we are saved, we are sealed by God as his child, and that seal is the Holy Spirit which lives in us after we are saved. ❤❤❤🤗🤗🤗

Just curious, what translation are you quoting?
